Picked this up during my residency because I needed something I could carry between floors without thinking about it. Two years later it's still the one I reach for first. Battery life has held up better than I expected given how often I use it.
The light is clean and white without that yellow cast my older halogen unit had. Makes a real difference when you're trying to assess disc color. My only small complaint is that the carrying case is a bit snug once you add spare batteries.
